Aircraft Crash – Solaris Cargo 7569 – 727Q Freighter Variant

To All Solaris Employees, It is with great sadness we must report the loss of 3 of our own.   On August 14th, Solaris Cargo flight 7569 was performing an operation from Indianapolis (KIND) to Tampa (KTPA).   The flight proceeded normally until entering Florida.   NTSB investigators have recovered the blackbox and have been analyzing the initial data since yesterday.  They have begun to put together the final moments of flight 7569.

New Airport Added – UUWW Vnukovo International

The second largest airport in Moscow, Vnukovo handles mostly domestic routes to Turkey, Germany, Italy, Austria and a handful of other countries in the area. New Solaris Star Maintenance Centers Available

The following airports have new Solaris Star Maintenance centers;  Chicago O’Hare (KORD) and John F. Kennedy (KJFK).   These are both able to handle up to a 747-8i aircraft. New Aircraft Purchased – Embraer Legacy 650

Solaris Air Pilot Handbook Updated to Version 1.3

The pilot handbook has been updated. Revision Changes Removed 4x time compression allowance rule.  All flights are now 1x for everyone.
