The Solaris Air company handbook has been updated to v1.5. You can go read it in the Human Resources menu on the main menu at the top. Changelog: Updated Discord requirements. Discord is now a requirement to join the VA. Added a section to the written tutorial on how to offload packages from the cargo hold. Added Best Practices page. Fixed spelling mistakes and formatting errors.

A new Solaris Star Maintenance Center has opened in Atlanta and we have also expanded the Miami and Seattle facilities so they can now handle up to a 747-8i. All of our centers can now handle up to 12 repair points worth of aircraft. All centers now also have storage warehouses for cargo as well as PR offices to give us more rep and better fuel prices at these airports.

Two new state of the art maintenance centers have opened up in the United States. Both are 12 point Extra Large centers with 75000kgs cargo storage, PR offices and of course maintenance bays available to hold our largest heavy iron. Our company pilot handbook has been updated to version 1.4. This new version includes the long awaited Cost Index values for many of our aircraft. If there is an aircraft missing it is either because the aircraft auto calculates the CI (like the Embraer eSeries aircraft) or no data was available for which to make the decision for the CI value. This does not include values for any BizJets. This
To All Solaris Employees, It is with great sadness we must report the loss of 3 of our own. On August 14th, Solaris Cargo flight 7569 was performing an operation from Indianapolis (KIND) to Tampa (KTPA). The flight proceeded normally until entering Florida. NTSB investigators have recovered the blackbox and have been analyzing the initial data since yesterday. They have begun to put together the final moments of flight 7569.

The pilot handbook has been updated. Revision Changes Removed 4x time compression allowance rule. All flights are now 1x for everyone. Updated hours required for each rank. This VA shouldn’t be something one ‘beats’ in a month. We are here for the long haul and our hours now reflect that. All pilots will stay at their current ranks. No one will be demoted because of our hour changes unless you
